Okay, So What Do I Actually Do Now?

If you’ve made it this far, first of all — hi. I’m really glad you’re here.
And second — you don’t need to overhaul your life tomorrow morning.
I know there’s a part of you that wants a plan. A reset. A “starting Monday” moment.
Something clean and decisive that finally fixes everything.
But that’s not what this is.
This isn’t about becoming a new version of yourself.
It’s about taking care of the one you already are.
Let’s Lower the Bar (In a Good Way)
You don’t need to:
Eat perfectly
Heal everything at once
Be calm all the time
Get it right every day
Your body doesn’t need intensity.
It needs consistency.
And consistency can be very small.
Start Here (Seriously, Just Here)
If everything feels overwhelming, pick one of these. Not all. One.
Eat breakfast with protein
Eat your meals more regularly
Go to bed a little earlier
Take a walk outside
Sit down to eat instead of rushing
Add warmth (sweater, tea, soup, shower)
That’s it.
No rules. No tracking. No “doing it perfectly.”
Just one small signal to your body that says, “I’m here. I’m listening.”
What You Might Notice (Quietly)
Nothing dramatic might happen at first.
But you might notice:
You’re a little less reactive
Food feels slightly less stressful
You crash less hard in the afternoon
Your body feels less… loud
That’s progress.
Healing rarely announces itself.
When You Mess Up (Because You Will)
You will skip meals again. You will push too hard some days. You will have moments where you feel frustrated or impatient.
That doesn’t undo anything.
This isn’t a streak to break.
It’s a relationship.
And relationships aren’t ruined by one off day — they’re built by coming back.
A Different Way to Measure “Health”
Instead of asking:
Am I doing this right?
Is my body changing fast enough?
Am I being good?
Try asking:
Do I feel a little more supported?
Am I listening more than I used to?
Do I feel safer in my body than before?
That’s real progress.
The Thing I Wish Someone Had Told Me
You don’t need to earn care.
You don’t need to shrink to be worthy of feeling good.
Your body doesn’t need fixing — it needs partnership.
And you’re allowed to take this slowly.
If You’re Wondering What Comes Next
Nothing big.
You keep eating. You keep resting. You keep noticing. You keep being kind when things aren’t perfect.
That’s how trust builds.
That’s how your body softens.
That’s how “healthy” starts to feel normal instead of exhausting.
If you take nothing else from this series, take this:
You were never broken. You weren’t behind. You weren’t failing.
You just didn’t have the instructions.
And now you do.
Thanks For Reading
Love,
Abby
